Jonathan Chang
CEO
Jonathan is the founder & CEO of Markit, where he and his team built a texting platform to help brands and businesses own and grow their audience.
He started the company shortly after graduating from Tufts w/ degrees in mechanical engineering and computer science. In school, he worked with NASA Marshall Space Flight Center analyzing microgravity electromagnetic levitation experiments. He spent a year working at Realtime Robotics, a Series A startup building motion planning software for industrial robots.
Since starting Markit 3 years ago, the startup has gone through Techstars Boston, raised $1.3M, and grown to over 100K monthly users and 1M texts sent per month.
He also currently serves as president of the Techstars Boston Alumni chapter and runs a popular Boston tech event newsletter for founders/investors/operators (https://markitai.com/u/jonathan).
